Materials

Made from hypoallergenic and non-irritating foam in a distinctive solid orange colour.

How to use

  1. Roll and compress earplug into a small crease-free cylinder
  2. To ensure proper fitting, reach your hand over your head and gently pull your ear upwards and outwards. Insert the compressed, rounded end of the earplug well into the ear canal
  3. Hold for a few seconds until earplug expands

Remove: Slowly twist and pull out of the ear canal to prevent damage to the eardrum.

Precautions

  • When removing the earplug, twist slowly & gradually to break the seal. If rapid removal this may result in damaging the eardrum.
  • Improper fitting will reduce effectiveness.
  • Discard if earplugs come in contact with lubricants, solvents or chemical substances.
  • Keep away from infants and small children when not in use.
  • Note: Please discard after several uses or as soon as wax accumulates on earplugs.

Additional FAQs

What are the best ear plugs for snoring?

The best ear plugs for snoring depend on your comfort and the level of noise you need to block. Foam ear plugs expand in the ear canal, while silicone earplugs mould to the shape of your ear. There are also specialist options like noise cancelling earplugs for snoring and isolate ear plugs. For very loud snoring, dense high-decibel (dB) ear plugs for sleeping may be more effective. Ear plugs are rated by their Noise Reduction Rating (NRR), which typically ranges from 22 dB to 37 dB – the higher the rating, the more noise they can reduce.

How do I put ear plugs in correctly?

For foam ear plugs, roll the plug into a small, tight cylinder, then reach over your head with the opposite hand to gently pull your ear upwards. Insert the plug into the ear canal and hold it in place while it expands to create a snug fit. Silicone and reusable ear plugs are pressed or twisted gently into place. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, as fitting methods can vary. Insert them carefully and never push them too deep, as this can cause discomfort or damage to the eardrum.

Is it safe to sleep with ear plugs in every night?

Ear plugs are generally safe to use every night, as long as you follow good hygiene. Wash your hands before handling them, clean reusable plugs regularly, and replace single-use foam ear plugs often. Keeping them clean and dry helps lower the risk of irritation, earwax build-up, or infection. Avoid pushing ear plugs too far into the ear canal, as this can cause discomfort or wax blockage. If you notice pressure, itching, or soreness, try a different type or size – or consult a healthcare professional for advice.

Do ear plugs damage your ears?

When used properly, ear plugs are safe and should not damage your ears. Issues usually arise if they’re inserted too deeply, used when dirty, or not replaced often enough, which can lead to irritation or wax build-up. To prevent problems, insert them gently, keep them clean, and follow the manufacturer’s replacement guidance. If you have ongoing ear problems, it’s best to speak with a healthcare professional before using ear plugs regularly.

A better night's sleep

I bought these for my partner , who suffers from many disturbed nights because of my snoring. I took the snore test and they suggested these and a more expensive item that I cannot afford at present. He told me that the noise he hears is greatly reduced – some nights he hears nothing now. Although ear plugs are not the solution to my snoring these have defiantly helped my partner to sleep better. This, in turn, helps me deal with the snoring because I am not upsetting him so much. I will definitely be buying some more of these. You get several pairs in one packet so the cost acceptable – no more expensive than ordinary ear plugs but much more effective. However I am told by my partner that they do not cut out all noise. He said they are comfortable and fit well into the ear – he as even been able to rinse them and re-use them as suggested on the packet.

Snore Calm Elite

Having tried and tested several brands of earplugs I can only say these are the best and most amazing earplugs ever. No more waking in the night to my hubby snoring and even the heavy rain on the sky light is not longer a problem. Thank you.

Very dissapointed

Having previously purchased a packet of Snore Calm elite with amazing results I purchased 3 packets to save postage. To say that I am extremely dissapointed with my recent purchase is an understatement. The new plugs will not stay compressed for long enough to allow insertion into the ear canal. This was not a problem with the original packet I purchased and used very successfully. I have tried using ear plugs from each of the 3 different packets in the hope of finding some which work effectively but the majority of them have this problem. As anyone who has used ear plugs knows they need to be inserted correctly to work to their full capacity and it is near impossible to insert these in the correct manner. I would be very interested to know if these are being produced in a different way or by a different company. I also note that all of the boxes are very poorly manufactured, coming apart at the sides, which while making no difference to the quality of the ear plug does makes me wonder whether they are bring manufactured by a different company.
