CHIN UPS

I have been embarassed by my snoring for many years and so thought I would give them a try and I must say they have helped dramitically, so I would definately say to give them a try.

Snore Calm Chin-Up Strips

These worked really well. Wasted the first Chin-Up Strip as I didn’t fit it correctly. After that no problems. My wife says that they completely stop the snoring in my case. The Manibular Advancement Device (from my dentist) which I used to use all the time reduces my snoring, but doesn’;t stop it. Though it does stop teeth grinding! I still use the Manibular Device once or twice per week as it is simple to fit. But the rest of the time I use the Chin-Up Strips.

I bought the pack of ten to see if they would help as my mouth opens when I sleep and I snore. They may work if you have the correct ‘type’ of snore, they are not too uncomfortable and as previousl mentioned getting them off can be a bind and obviously you can’t have a conversation after they are on. Worth a buying a 10 pack to try, but sadly not for me.

Chin-up Straps

I tried a pack of 10 of the Chin-up Straps, to see how or whether they worked. I tried applying them using both methods and found that working upwards worked better for me. On a couple of occasions my mouth was able to open during the night so I snored, and I put that down to not concentrating on putting the strap on correctly. I definitely found that Vaseline was necessary to protect the skin, but making sure there wasn’t excess when I tried to apply the strap – it didn’t stay on properly. Normally I have a beard, which both my partner and I like, so having to shave it off and keep well shaved was a distinct bind. Overall I would say the straps reduced snoring to an acceptable limit for my partner. I need to investigate the issue further as it seems that on occasions having dealt with the mouth based snoring, I start doing it through the nose – I don’t want to end up with straps all over my face. LOL

Like other respondents I feel a burk wearing them and they are difficult to remove, however they are very effective. My mouth is no longer dry and yucky in the morning. My wife is also impressed.
