chin up straps
I have tried other products to prevent snoring but still prefer the British snoring chin up strips. When you have solved the knack of ensuring the straps are in the correct place on the face then a good nights rest without snoring ensues. I do not use the vaseline on the face as a better adhesion is maintained without it.
Snore Calm
A good product. It keeps my jaw forward so that my tongue does not fall backwards and cause apnoea. You should use some lubrication on your face before applying or they can cause irritation. One drawback – the wife thinks I look like Hannibal Lector with them on.
Strips
I have found these to be very helpful in reducing my snoring by about 75%, my wife now gets a better nights sleep, so thats good news all round. I also don’t use vaseline as i found the strap tended to slip.
Chin-Up Strips
According to the site I am a palatial flutterer. Like a previous reviewer I’d tried sprays (Rhynil), nasal strips and various other things so I doubted that the strips would have any effect. I was pretty amazed when my girlfriend told me I barely snored during the night. The second time I wore one I attached the strap more tightly and managed not to snore once! I am a convert. I guess it’s a matter of finding the right product for you, the strips work for me though.
Snore Calm Chin Ups
Having tried the sprays and nasal strips, this was my only hope before going for the operation (which I was seriously considering to try and save my relationship). I had tried using them before with vaseline but they kept falling off. This time I tried it without the vaseline and they worked. Although they don’t stop snoring completely, they have allowed my partner and I to be able to sleep in the same bed without one of us going to the sofa, therefore he wasn’t grumpy and me feeling guilty all the time. I would definitely recommend these !
