These strips are also perfect for those using CPAP therapy, preventing mouth leaks, dry mouth, and sore throats for a more comfortable sleep experience.

Godsend

I suffer from Sjorgrens Syndrome which means I produce no saliva at night and mouth breathing results in chronic oral dryness, mouth ulcers and respiratory problems. These strips have been a life saver and really do work. They take a bit practise and patience to get the hang of applying them correctly and to new users I would suggest the following: Watch the You Tube video. Put moisturiser on before applying the plaster but let it absorb fully before putting on. Doing this makes the strip easier to remove, reuse or reposition. Roll your lips inwards whilst applying (so your lips are rolled under your teeth); this makes the skin taut and once the plaster is in place your lips are naturally sealed. If you suffer from a dry mouth condition place mouth gel behind your front teeth (before applying strip) so that it stays in place for as long as possible and isn’t immediately swallowed. In the morning carefully remove the strip so that it can be reused. I generally get 3-4 nights wear from one strip. But this only works if the skin is supple and smooth and the plaster is peeled off from the bottom up using both hands to ease it off evenly. Initially wearing the plaster feels a bit claustrophobic but you quickly get used to it. It is possible to drink water through a straw when wearing and the fabric is soft enough to feel comfortable and not overly constraining. Lastly I’d like to thank British Snoring for selling this product as its made massive difference in alleviating what is a miserable chronic disease.

Snore Calm Chin up straps

I have been troubled by snoring for some years. I am not particularly overweight or a smoker. I noticed my throat and tongue got very dry at night and my wife’s sleep was disturbed by loud snoring. She had to constantly try and push me to sleep on my side. These chin straps have solved the problem and while they don’t look particularly ‘becoming’ they help us both get a better nights sleep. They are easy to apply and take off in the morning.

Great

This is a great product. It helps to reduce my snoring. I can use the same strip more than one day. So the price becomes more reasonable.

I was so anxious!

I had to go away and knew I would be sleeping in a dorm with other people. I can snore really loud when tired and was sooo anxious!! I used these along with a spray recommended on this site and snoring was never mentioned – I’m sure it would have been as the room was totally quiet!I could feel how the straps held my chin up. I put them on just as I fell asleep and took it off when I woke up so it wasn’t obvious. I didn’t find them hard to sleep in.I was so happy!!

Chin up strips

I think these are useful in reducing the amount of snoring if you breathe through your mouth at night. I use them along with a tongue stabilising device, it helps it to keep in place. I purposely sleep on my side aswell and the combination of all these measures has made a big difference in my energy levels.
