SleepRight Dura-Comfort Dental Night Guard has an improved design of the bite-pads, frontal band and stability wing to the Secure Comfort dental-guard. Making this a stronger, more comfortable night guard for sufferers of severe bruxism and teeth grinding.
The Dura Comfort is designed to keep your upper and lower teeth apart to prevent premature tooth wear and noise from teeth grinding. The bite plates on the night guard are slowly ground down during bruxism episodes rather than grinding the teeth. Many sufferers also report that headaches and facial pain is reduced when using such a guard.
The wider frontal band is anatomically designed with an inner bridge to prevent the strap from sliding, the bendable hinges reduce pressure points and the stability wing is more flexible allowing the wings to move with your mouth for increased comfort.
The bite-pads on this guard are made from a higher quality material than those of the Secure Comfort dental-guard making it less likely for bruxism sufferers to bite through the material.

- Ask a dentist before use if you have loose fillings, loose teeth, chipped or broken teeth, loose caps or unfilled cavities; jaw clicking or pain, teeth pain, face pain; difficulty chewing; mouth sores; gum disease or bleeding gums; or respiratory problems.
- While using this product, see your dentist at least every 6 months.
- Stop use and see a dentist if you develop loose teeth or a change in your bite; experience pain or other irregularity.
- Stop use if it easily falls out of your mouth or causes you to gag or choke, you develop bleeding gums, soreness or other reaction inside your mouth.
- CAUTION: As with all intra-oral devices, there are inherent risk factors associated with using them. You should proceed with caution while using this product and regularly examine it, before and after each use, for any damage that may present a potential health hazard.

A check up at the dentist revealed wear on my teeth from either jaw clenching or grinding whilst asleep. This was causing headache and jaw pain and was making my life a misery as up until this point I didn’t know the cause. My dentist said she could custom make my mouth guard and estimated this would cost around £250. So I did a bit of research on the Internet and found this website. I had become aware that I was biting down hard overnight which is why I went for the more durable guard. It arrived promptly which I was most pleased about. Having quite a sensitive gag reflex I was unsure how I would take to wearing a mouth guard. I have now been using it for a month and I can honestly say it has made a huge difference to my life and that is not an exaggeration! I no longer wake up with a headache and find I am sleeping better. My jaw pain has gone also. I have nodded off without my mouth guard and even after just 45 minutes have woken with a headache. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who severely bites down, clenches their jaw or grinds their teeth. Trust me-it will change your life completely!!!
Lasted over 2 years!
I bought the dura comfort bite guard over 2 years ago and have used it every night since. It really works well. I’m buying another one simply because I lost the first about a week ago and just cannot do without it. In the past I have had various and much more expensive other guard from the dentist but have found this product far superior to all of the others. £79 is a lot of money but it does the job and if you do grind, you will probably find you are a lot better off by having one of these guards.

I have had the SleepRight Dura Comfort Night-Guard for a month and have found it excellent. I had some initional problems in adjusting it for comfort but it is now fine. I used to wake up with a headache most mornings but since using this product I am pleased to say this has not happend.

I have used night guards for years for bruxism. Dentists seem reluctant to prescribe hard acrylic ones and I bite through soft ones in 5 months which is expensive. I find this one comfortable and will find out if it is durable. I didn’t receive any instructions, don’t know if that is normal. It was delivered the next day and I found it easy to adjust the size.
Great product
I have been clenching/grinding my front teeth for years without realising, then a dentist suggested a ridiculously overpriced guard that i turned down in favour of this. It is actually more robust anyway and has made my jaw, neck and shoulder muscles feel relaxed in the morning instead of tense day in day out.It takes a few days to get used to – but then it is plain sailing and on the odd occasion I have forgotten to put it in my clenching seems better as well. – well worth it.
