Materials

Made from hypoallergenic and non-irritating foam in a distinctive solid orange colour.

How to use

  1. Roll and compress earplug into a small crease-free cylinder
  2. To ensure proper fitting, reach your hand over your head and gently pull your ear upwards and outwards. Insert the compressed, rounded end of the earplug well into the ear canal
  3. Hold for a few seconds until earplug expands

Remove: Slowly twist and pull out of the ear canal to prevent damage to the eardrum.

Precautions

  • When removing the earplug, twist slowly & gradually to break the seal. If rapid removal this may result in damaging the eardrum.
  • Improper fitting will reduce effectiveness.
  • Discard if earplugs come in contact with lubricants, solvents or chemical substances.
  • Keep away from infants and small children when not in use.
  • Note: Please discard after several uses or as soon as wax accumulates on earplugs.

Additional FAQs

What are the best ear plugs for snoring?

The best ear plugs for snoring depend on your comfort and the level of noise you need to block. Foam ear plugs expand in the ear canal, while silicone earplugs mould to the shape of your ear. There are also specialist options like noise cancelling earplugs for snoring and isolate ear plugs. For very loud snoring, dense high-decibel (dB) ear plugs for sleeping may be more effective. Ear plugs are rated by their Noise Reduction Rating (NRR), which typically ranges from 22 dB to 37 dB – the higher the rating, the more noise they can reduce.

How do I put ear plugs in correctly?

For foam ear plugs, roll the plug into a small, tight cylinder, then reach over your head with the opposite hand to gently pull your ear upwards. Insert the plug into the ear canal and hold it in place while it expands to create a snug fit. Silicone and reusable ear plugs are pressed or twisted gently into place. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, as fitting methods can vary. Insert them carefully and never push them too deep, as this can cause discomfort or damage to the eardrum.

Is it safe to sleep with ear plugs in every night?

Ear plugs are generally safe to use every night, as long as you follow good hygiene. Wash your hands before handling them, clean reusable plugs regularly, and replace single-use foam ear plugs often. Keeping them clean and dry helps lower the risk of irritation, earwax build-up, or infection. Avoid pushing ear plugs too far into the ear canal, as this can cause discomfort or wax blockage. If you notice pressure, itching, or soreness, try a different type or size – or consult a healthcare professional for advice.

Do ear plugs damage your ears?

When used properly, ear plugs are safe and should not damage your ears. Issues usually arise if they’re inserted too deeply, used when dirty, or not replaced often enough, which can lead to irritation or wax build-up. To prevent problems, insert them gently, keep them clean, and follow the manufacturer’s replacement guidance. If you have ongoing ear problems, it’s best to speak with a healthcare professional before using ear plugs regularly.

They definitely do the job.

Having been using these earplugs for 3 months now I can say with conviction they do the job better than any other earplugs I have used. In the same bed they reduce the noise level to where I can sleep. In separate beds but the same room there is even grater effectiveness. I have only one problem and that appears to be a small pimple appears on the inside of the ear canal where the outer edge of the earplug rests. Some hydro-cortisone cream seems to cure the problem. Overall, very impressed. On a cost basis they are very good value for money.Malcolm Preston

Elite Foam Ear Plugs

While they don’t do exactly what it says on the tin, I have been able to make this product work quite well for me. It takes patience and practice to get the best performance. My main problem was that my wife’s snoring has become so loud that it wakes me from even a deep sleep meaning I had to start sleeping in another bedroom. With the plugs, I am finding that, by taking time to fit them and holding them in place with my fingers, I drift off to sleep. The plugs then remain well enough in place to enable me to get a decent night’s sleep.

Excellent!

Brilliant product – been struggling to find something that deals with my partner’s immense snoring and these absolutely do. Highly recommended!

Great product!

They do exactly what it says on the tin! They totally allow me a good nights sleep whilst with my boyfriend who has an unbelievably loud and odd snore! They are completely comfortable to lie on as I sleep on my side and that was my main worry. I can still hear noises when I’m awake but give me the luxury of a decent sleep once I’ve nodded off and am not drawn out of it on a period basis by the snoring anymore. Happy days (and nights…!!!)
