Description

The SleepRight Ultra-Comfort Dental Guard (previously known as the SleepRight Slim-Comfort Night Guard) is designed specifically for sufferers of teeth grinding and bruxism who have sensitive gums and/or a small mouth.

Like all the SleepRight night guards for sleep, the Ultra-Comfort is designed to keep your upper and lower teeth apart to prevent premature tooth wear and noise from teeth grinding. The bite plates on the night guard are slowly ground down during bruxism episodes rather than grinding the teeth. Many sufferers also report that headaches and facial pain is reduced when using such a nightguard.

Very Effective

21/02/2015

I have suffered from bruxism all my life, but only discovered this product a few years ago.The first one I bought was very effective and lasted years. The one I have just purchased seems to be made of softer plastic, but it could be that my old one had become a little brittle with age. Anyway,it does the job just as well. Even though I have teeth missing here and there, this device is still useable and makes a huge difference. I sleep much better and there’s less wear and tear on my teeth. It does take a bit of getting used to at first but it’s well worth persevering.

slim comfort night guard

Very quick delivery and exact product as advertised. Purchased to trial teeth shield, as for one on the NHS is over £300. Has been very useful and effective in stopping me grinding my teeth. Takes a little getting used to, but with daily use, am now managing most of the night with it in, before I take it out in my sleep!

Really good mouth guard

14/04/2014

After suffering with a sore tongue and mouth for over 6 months, due to jaw clenching and biting my tongue in my sleep (so hard that it would bleed), I decided to try a mouth guard. I researched different sorts on the internet and finally decided on this one. I am so glad I did. My mouth is no longer sore, the guard fits well, stays in place and does the job well. It feels strange until you get used to it but is well worth putting up with to protect my mouth and keep it pain free.

Slim Nightguard

I bought the slim comfort nightguard for my husband who had been grinding his teeth intermittently in the night. I had looked up online for solutions to the problem. He found it took a few weeks to get used to it in his mouth, and twice woke up with it having moved out of place. A little scary as one time it was in the middle of his mouth in danger of being swallowed! On the whole though, pleased with the product, and it gave us peace of mind to know we were protecting his teeth, plus I got a good night sleep! He no longer needs it

Sleepright

I bought the slim fit version as was having problems with my custom made night guard specifically it was rubbing in places and digging in when i took it out causing trauma to the gum line. The Sleepright slim fit is smaller and I can put it in and take it out much more easily. It is not as comfortable though when sleeping on your side it pushes on your cheeks. Takes some getting used to but at least I can buy it myself and it does not cause problems through being too tight fitting. I also like the way that I can close my mouth with it in so can practise mouth closed and teeth apart which I cannot do with the custom made night guard. Pros and cons for both.
