Description

SleepRight Dura-Comfort Dental Night Guard has an improved design of the bite-pads, frontal band and stability wing to the Secure Comfort dental-guard. Making this a stronger, more comfortable night guard for sufferers of severe bruxism and teeth grinding.

The Dura Comfort is designed to keep your upper and lower teeth apart to prevent premature tooth wear and noise from teeth grinding. The bite plates on the night guard are slowly ground down during bruxism episodes rather than grinding the teeth. Many sufferers also report that headaches and facial pain is reduced when using such a guard.

The wider frontal band is anatomically designed with an inner bridge to prevent the strap from sliding, the bendable hinges reduce pressure points and the stability wing is more flexible allowing the wings to move with your mouth for increased comfort.

The bite-pads on this guard are made from a higher quality material than those of the Secure Comfort dental-guard making it less likely for bruxism sufferers to bite through the material.

SleepRight Dura Comfort Night-Guard

After 2 nights I felt like a new person. The pain in my face, head and neck has gone completely. There are days when I know I’ve had a hard night clenching and grinding, but still there is no pain. I have not had to take painkillers since I started wearing the device. This combined with Cranial Sacral Osteopathic treatment have really sorted me. I am cross with myself that I didn’t do this a long time ago!

Ingenious product

To be honest, at first I found this quite uncomfortable and didn’t sleep well for about a week. Then I got used to it and am very grateful because it works really well. I cant believe Ive been grinding my teeth for 40 years and I never knew. All the jaw pain and neck pain has stopped now, so if this one ever wears out, I will be buying another.

SleepRight Dura Comfort Night-Guard

I have extremely bad bruxism. I ground the tops my bottom teeth down to the dentine, and the backs of my top teeth were also severely damaged. After I had the teeth capped, within a short while, I had to have the two from top caps replaced beacuse I had ground away the backs. I’ve had two very expensive guards made and fitted, but both were very uncomfortable, and chafed my gums. The second one I bit through within a couple of months. I bought my first SleepRight guard in November 2007, and have just received my second (October 2009). I am VERY pleased with them!

Better than what dentists give you

I was intrigued by approach and philosophy behind the SleepRight Dental Guard because it made sense to try to train our teeth and jaws not to grind. I’ve had it for a number of months now and although I didn’t follow instructions to start wearing it an hour before sleeping –; I still feel that my teeth grinding has been reduced considerably when using this guard. I feel much better in the morning than I did when I was using the night guard prescribed by my dentist. If I don’t wear it I still grind my teeth. I feel that it would be beneficial to follow instructions and in addition look into ways to reduce tension and stress in the jaw.

I am happy with this product and I would recommend it over night guards they sell in shops or those made by dentists.

No Title

Initially when I started using Sleep Right it was very uncomfortable and my jaw was very painful for about a week. Since then things have settled down and I am able to have a peaceful nights sleep. I no longer wake up with a headache from grinding!!
