Description

Nozovent® Nasal Dilator is a simple but proven top-rated product to help relieve the vibrations that cause snoring. Available in two sizes, Medium or Large. It opens the nostrils, allowing more oxygen into the airways. It is a small strip made from medical plastic that inserts into the nasal channels, and expands, allowing breathing to become easier. As a result, the soft palate does not vibrate as easily, you breathe easier and snore less. Easier on your throat too, and allows more oxygen into your lungs.

The Nozovent® Nasal Dilator is designed and made using a ‘springy’, flexible plastic (polyeteramid). It takes a little time to get used to, but with regular use most find that they forget its presence in the nose. In position, Nozovent® is anchored by specially designed nodules, which ensure that the device does not come into contact with the mucous membrane or become the cause of a nosebleed.

Each pack contains 2 pieces.

The product has worked surprisingly well. It is easy to fit once you have practised a few times and the only time I have noticed it is when I have banged my nose! My partner has been positive in her praise for its efficiency, and all I need to do now is do something about her snoring……

I have used these for years since I found that in bed lieing on one side or the other, it varies, I can’t breathe properly. Holding a nostril open with my fingers helped me get to sleep but then obviously didn’t work. I found nosovents, I think from an advertisement but it was many years ago, and they have worked well for me ever since, every night. They last me a long time. I keep several beside the bed as they sometimes flip out during the night and I wake up because I cannot breathe properly. I wash all the ones I have used in the night each morning. This is the first time I have bought them from you but wherever I get them I cannot imagine coping without them. Jessica

A good fall-back

31/10/2011

I have used this item previously and found them useful for keeping my nostrils open during sleep (though my problem is actually due to allergies of some sort which cause the upper part of my nose to close off during the night, despite using appropriate puffers – and having had a Turbinate? (nose operation to open it up) in the past. However a sleep test showed me having very low oxygen uptake during the night, and I was very tired in the mornings. The problem with this device is that it does cause mild pain and annoyance with the constant outward pressure on the nostrils – I never really did get used to it. Also, as it protrudes a distance out from the nostrils, it keeps getting accidentally dislodged as I roll over in my sleep – I was forever reinserting it.

harsh on the inner nose

17/10/2011

I’d used the Nozovent before. I had a medium size. The plastic was soft and easy on the nose, but it fell out during the night (but when in was very effective). For my next order i went for the large size hoping it would stay in all night. The problem is the plastic seems to be a lot harder and the little bumps on the Nozovent are quite harsh on the inside of the nose. It seems a lot more uncomfortable to wear now…i like using the nozovent as it does give me the ability to breath more freely through my nose. Its a welcome relief.

I have one of these before so I was re-ordering. I find that it opens up the airways and helps me breath better at night.I wanted to get a small one for my wife but they do not seem to make them in a small size. Pity!
