How to use
- Roll and compress earplug into a small crease-free cylinder
- To ensure proper fitting, reach your hand over your head and gently pull your ear upwards and outwards. Insert the compressed, rounded end of the earplug well into the ear canal
- Hold for a few seconds until earplug expands
Remove: Slowly twist and pull out of the ear canal to prevent damage to the eardrum.
Precautions
- When removing the earplug, twist slowly & gradually to break the seal. If rapid removal this may result in damaging the eardrum.
- Improper fitting will reduce effectiveness.
- Discard if earplugs come in contact with lubricants, solvents or chemical substances.
- Keep away from infants and small children when not in use.
- Note: Please discard after several uses or as soon as wax accumulates on earplugs.
Additional FAQs
What are the best ear plugs for snoring?
The best ear plugs for snoring depend on your comfort and the level of noise you need to block. Foam ear plugs expand in the ear canal, while silicone earplugs mould to the shape of your ear. There are also specialist options like noise cancelling earplugs for snoring and isolate ear plugs. For very loud snoring, dense high-decibel (dB) ear plugs for sleeping may be more effective. Ear plugs are rated by their Noise Reduction Rating (NRR), which typically ranges from 22 dB to 37 dB – the higher the rating, the more noise they can reduce.
How do I put ear plugs in correctly?
For foam ear plugs, roll the plug into a small, tight cylinder, then reach over your head with the opposite hand to gently pull your ear upwards. Insert the plug into the ear canal and hold it in place while it expands to create a snug fit. Silicone and reusable ear plugs are pressed or twisted gently into place. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, as fitting methods can vary. Insert them carefully and never push them too deep, as this can cause discomfort or damage to the eardrum.
Is it safe to sleep with ear plugs in every night?
Ear plugs are generally safe to use every night, as long as you follow good hygiene. Wash your hands before handling them, clean reusable plugs regularly, and replace single-use foam ear plugs often. Keeping them clean and dry helps lower the risk of irritation, earwax build-up, or infection. Avoid pushing ear plugs too far into the ear canal, as this can cause discomfort or wax blockage. If you notice pressure, itching, or soreness, try a different type or size – or consult a healthcare professional for advice.
Do ear plugs damage your ears?
When used properly, ear plugs are safe and should not damage your ears. Issues usually arise if they’re inserted too deeply, used when dirty, or not replaced often enough, which can lead to irritation or wax build-up. To prevent problems, insert them gently, keep them clean, and follow the manufacturer’s replacement guidance. If you have ongoing ear problems, it’s best to speak with a healthcare professional before using ear plugs regularly.

At Last - Silence
Tried several ear plugs over several years – these work – really do cut down snoring noise – recommend no problems – comfy – easy to use – good value 5 Stars.
Best plugs ever for me
Brought these a few weeks ago and very pleased with their performance. My wife does snore loudly and with plugs in I can still hear her but the plugs are brilliant. I live on a busy road and traffic noise is eliminated. They are very soft, comfortable and certainly the best I have ever used (although correct insertion does have a big effect on any plugs performance) Try them out and you might be surprised at what you might not hear if you are a light sleeper. Yes, I would certainly purchase these again.
Rewiew of earplugs
I thought that my sleepless nights were over. But nothing is that easy. The ear plugs are too narrow and not dense enough. They just didn’t want to stay in my ear. I did try and persevere with them for the first night but woke up with them on my pillow an had to use my old ones that I buy from boots. I am thinking of resorting to having a special pair made for me as this seems like the only answer.
snore Calm Elite
Having tried several options I decided to give these a try. The reviews were mainly good but the odd negative one which makes one sometimes a little wary but the majority were right – best ones I have tried – comfortable to wear and eliminates a high % of unwanted snoring noise. Would recommend to all.
Calm elite ?
Bought this product due to the fact it was describe as being 37db rated I need at least double that to drown out my wifes 60 db snoring I dont think These can be anywhere near that as the 20db silicone mouldable ones I usually use cut out at least twice as much noise. With these in my ear I could hear every faint sound mostly the rustling of my duvet so very disappionted. They also very uncomfortable actually hurt my ears woke me up in the night so had to remove them. May be good for others but not for me.
