Materials

Made from hypoallergenic and non-irritating foam in a distinctive solid orange colour.

How to use

  1. Roll and compress earplug into a small crease-free cylinder
  2. To ensure proper fitting, reach your hand over your head and gently pull your ear upwards and outwards. Insert the compressed, rounded end of the earplug well into the ear canal
  3. Hold for a few seconds until earplug expands

Remove: Slowly twist and pull out of the ear canal to prevent damage to the eardrum.

Precautions

  • When removing the earplug, twist slowly & gradually to break the seal. If rapid removal this may result in damaging the eardrum.
  • Improper fitting will reduce effectiveness.
  • Discard if earplugs come in contact with lubricants, solvents or chemical substances.
  • Keep away from infants and small children when not in use.
  • Note: Please discard after several uses or as soon as wax accumulates on earplugs.

Additional FAQs

What are the best ear plugs for snoring?

The best ear plugs for snoring depend on your comfort and the level of noise you need to block. Foam ear plugs expand in the ear canal, while silicone earplugs mould to the shape of your ear. There are also specialist options like noise cancelling earplugs for snoring and isolate ear plugs. For very loud snoring, dense high-decibel (dB) ear plugs for sleeping may be more effective. Ear plugs are rated by their Noise Reduction Rating (NRR), which typically ranges from 22 dB to 37 dB – the higher the rating, the more noise they can reduce.

How do I put ear plugs in correctly?

For foam ear plugs, roll the plug into a small, tight cylinder, then reach over your head with the opposite hand to gently pull your ear upwards. Insert the plug into the ear canal and hold it in place while it expands to create a snug fit. Silicone and reusable ear plugs are pressed or twisted gently into place. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions, as fitting methods can vary. Insert them carefully and never push them too deep, as this can cause discomfort or damage to the eardrum.

Is it safe to sleep with ear plugs in every night?

Ear plugs are generally safe to use every night, as long as you follow good hygiene. Wash your hands before handling them, clean reusable plugs regularly, and replace single-use foam ear plugs often. Keeping them clean and dry helps lower the risk of irritation, earwax build-up, or infection. Avoid pushing ear plugs too far into the ear canal, as this can cause discomfort or wax blockage. If you notice pressure, itching, or soreness, try a different type or size – or consult a healthcare professional for advice.

Do ear plugs damage your ears?

When used properly, ear plugs are safe and should not damage your ears. Issues usually arise if they’re inserted too deeply, used when dirty, or not replaced often enough, which can lead to irritation or wax build-up. To prevent problems, insert them gently, keep them clean, and follow the manufacturer’s replacement guidance. If you have ongoing ear problems, it’s best to speak with a healthcare professional before using ear plugs regularly.

Not great

As a wearer of earplugs every single night for as long as I can remember, I was expecting great things. I usually buy the foam ones from Tesco, but it seems they have discontinued, so am now desperately seeking a replacement. Sadly, these are not it. I didn’t find these comfortable at all, which I think was down to the fanning out at the widest part. It actually caused me discomfort during the night. I could maybe have found a way to get past that, had they blocked out the sound of my husband’s snoring, but again, this was not the case. The box states that these earplugs gave the highest decibel reduction, but for me this wasn’t true. I’m still searching for my Tesco replacement. Very disappointed.

relief all round !

As an anxious sleeper, any noise jolts me into a stressed fully awake mode, I decided to take action and these ear plugs are excellent. It takes a little practise to insert them correctly, I firstly tried them in the daytime with the radio on, just to see how much sound was blocked out, result! I simply have added popping in these ear plugs to my bedtime routine. These earplugs are superior and a pair seem to last a fortnight with nightly wear.I am settling to sleep now, confident of waking refreshed. It would be great to be able to purchase a little hygienic case to place them in.

Great Ear Plugs

These are the best ear plugs I have ever tried. I can still hear my wife snoring if I wake in the night, but on the whole it muffles the sound enough to allow me to sleep for a full night. I can highly recommend them.

Snore Calm

I bought these as I am unable to buy the same plugs I have had for a while that are mushroom shaped and work really well. I previously bought the silicone ones and found they wouldn’t soften enough to put in my ears … I have small ears. I took my mushroom plugs plus the new snore calm on holiday and used both sets. The Snore Calm are lovely and soft and quite mailable and sit comfortably in the ear and they did reduce the noise of my partner’s snoring and I did manage to get some sleep with help of the plugs and sleeping tablets …. Earplugs alone never totally block out snoring.

Snore Calm Elite Foam Ear Plugs

I have tried foam and gel earplugs in the past as my husband snores. The foam are the best. However, these are the best ear plugs I have tried. They block out the noise very well indeed. Would recommend. They are comfortable too.
