Snore Calm Chin-Up Strips (10 Pack

I have (according to my family) a serious snoring problem and I wear an appliance to help with this. Although the appliance helps considerably it doesn’t completely remove the problem because my mouth falls open when I sleep. Consequently my dentist recommended these strips. They work perfectly. They are reasonably comfortable to wear although a little fiddly to get into the exact position to ensure your mouth remains shut (gets easier with practice). They are quite large and cover most of the lower part of your face below the lip and up to the sides of your nose. Although they are flesh coloured they are not the most attractive thing to wear in bed I only use them occasionally when complete silence is required but I was able to use one strip twice reducing the cost of the strips. I would recommend this product.

Chin up strips

Tried these with the nose strips which I usually wear. The nose strips help as my nostrils collapse when I breathe in. I found the chin strips easy to apply, very adhesive but a little scary when I couldn’t open my mouth much to breathe through! I did however quickly get used to this and dropped off to sleep. It stayed in place till I woke and found it still very strong to remove. It left me with a red chin for a little while though it wasn’t painful to remove. Definitely worth a go if you snore through your mouth. For me it transpires it’s mouth and nose!

Doesn't work all the time

Easy to wear and use. Very discreet, but some days it just didn’t work, so I had to put it literally over my mouth to make me breaththrough my nose. I still wear them as it has reduced the amount that I snore.

Chin ups

These are not for those who are worried about what they look like in bed, as I felt a bit like Hannibal Lecter . It takes a bit of getting used to the feel of swallowing when on. Having said all that they are very successful, my husband said I never snored at all. So I will be using them as and when needed. I did the snore test before making my purchase on the recommendation it made. You need to follow the advice given in the video on how to wear them. I found it easier to put on chin first.

Didn't work for me

I tried the snore tests and thought that perhaps I snored because my mouth was open, but my husband said there was no improvement, if anything worse than usual! I think these would work well if that is your problem. It certainly kept my mouth shut, and I would have been willing to put up with the mild discomfort if they had worked. Before buying these I suggest you do the tests a bit more accurately than I did, or buy a small pack until you know they will work for you.
