- Do not use as an athletic mouth guard.
- Before using this product, carefully read and understand all directions and consult with your dentist if you have any concerns. Using this product other than as directed may cause breakage of the product and potential injury.
- Do not use for more than 12 hours in a 24 hour period.
- Not for use with dentures, braces or other dental appliances.
- Do not use for more than 3 months from initial use without consulting your dentist.
- Ask a dentist before use if you have loose fillings, loose teeth, chipped or broken teeth, loose caps or unfilled cavities; jaw clicking or pain, teeth pain, face pain; difficulty chewing; mouth sores; gum disease or bleeding gums; or respiratory problems.
- While using this product, see your dentist at least every 6 months.
- Stop use and see a dentist if you develop loose teeth or a change in your bite; experience pain or other irregularity.
- Stop use if it easily falls out of your mouth or causes you to gag or choke, you develop bleeding gums, soreness or other reaction inside your mouth.
- CAUTION: As with all intra-oral devices, there are inherent risk factors associated with using them. You should proceed with caution while using this product and regularly examine it, before and after each use, for any damage that may present a potential health hazard.

More flimsy but ultimately a good buy.
HiI had been using a mouth guard made specially by the dentist for me. This cost 3 times more than the Sleepright guard. However the tension type headaches caused by clenching my teeth started recurring again. I thought I would give this night guard a try as I was getting desperate. I haven’t had a headache since! This guard is more flimsy than the one from the dentist, and falls out sometimes. Perhaps I should have tried the smaller size, but wasn’t aware that I had a small mouth. However I can say I’m totally satisfied as it is reeducating my mouth not to clench, rather than just cushioning the blow!
Not perfect
My dentist advised my to try a mouth guard but rather than going through him, I used this website. I found the night guard to be good at stopping me from grinding my teeth. When wearing it, you cannot touch the front teeth together, yet after a couple of nights it feels normal to wear.However, after using the product for a month or so, I have found that my upper and lower teeth don’t quite fit together as well as they used to do. A bit worrying and makes me think I should have asked my dentist to fit something more bespoke to the shape of my mouth. Next time I might try the thinner night-guard. I have found that headaches are less severe than before. If I do wake with a headache, I find that if I lie on my back and gently stretch my neck (by putting chin down) for a few minutes then the headache will often subside.

I have tried all three guards now and this one is the best. The problem from my earlier review has been overcome with perseverance as the guard gradually softens to fit your mouth, and the slightly wider strap on this model make it now very comfy to wear. I am about to order my third one as the bite plates do wear out. Mine seem to be lasting me about a year.
Standard Night Guard
After months of waking up with headaches which I put down to dehydration, I visited my Doctor as I had developed chronic earache. There was no infection and my Doctor diagnosed teeth grinding, which my dentist confirmed also. I did some research online and found your mouth guards. What a blessing!!! I cannot believe that something this simple has made such a difference to my life but it has.

Hello, I have suffered from teeth grinding for many years now, which was costing me a fortune in fillings and root treatment, I was only filling the dentists pocket! I took up the option when the dentist offered me the creation of a custom mouthguard, where they took an impression of my upper teeth. This cost about £80 and was okay to begin with but then actually made the problem worse as the enlarged shield during grinding was pushing my front incisors against my bottom teeth causing them to crowd. The constant headaches did not go away either. I was so fed up of the constant pain in my jaw and head that I went looking for an alternative, thats when I came across the Sleep Right Guard. After reading the comments I thought I would give it a try, anything to relieve the pain. WELL…….I am pleased to say the product is excellent, I have been using it for about a month now and the pain in my jaw and head are now gone when I wake up. The design of the product ensures your teeth and jaw are held apart, which is great. It only took me only one night to get comfortable with it, the gums take about one week to get used to it as I experienced some mild rubbing. I was a bit concerned that rubbing marks from my teeth where appearing on the guards only after a week and afraid that I would wear through them quickly but I have experienced no further wear so I hope it stays that way. There is also a another Sleep Right Guard, Dura Comfort for severe teeth grinders which I assume has tougher guards. Initially I was going to buy this but thought I would try the cheaper model first, if I was to replace it I would certainly purchase the Dura Comfort for a longer lasting guard.So….to recap If you are thinking of buying this product, go ahead and get it. You will not regret it! Wake up with no more pain. In my opinion don’t waste your money or time on the impression mouthguard offered by the dentist.
