Description

Nozovent® Nasal Dilator is a simple but proven top-rated product to help relieve the vibrations that cause snoring. Available in two sizes, Medium or Large. It opens the nostrils, allowing more oxygen into the airways. It is a small strip made from medical plastic that inserts into the nasal channels, and expands, allowing breathing to become easier. As a result, the soft palate does not vibrate as easily, you breathe easier and snore less. Easier on your throat too, and allows more oxygen into your lungs.

The Nozovent® Nasal Dilator is designed and made using a ‘springy’, flexible plastic (polyeteramid). It takes a little time to get used to, but with regular use most find that they forget its presence in the nose. In position, Nozovent® is anchored by specially designed nodules, which ensure that the device does not come into contact with the mucous membrane or become the cause of a nosebleed.

Each pack contains 2 pieces.

Some Improvement

10/04/2014

This has not solved my problem but has helped in that my snoring is reduced according to my wife. It is not as uncomfortable as I expected and is less painful than frequent digs in the ribs and after a little while you do get used to it. I found that it did not fall out at all even though I am a fairly restless sleeper.I have tied an number of other products including sprays and a mouthpiece and have found this to be the most effective so far. Not a cure as I have said but all in all a very good partial solution so far.

Now in my 50s, I am a long-term fan of Nozovent. All my life, I used to snore loudly throughout the house, sometimes seeming to stop breathing and also feel really tired on waking. I knew I was giving my wife a bad time. I felt guilt and embarrassment. So I found the British Snoring site (by chance). I have an ordinary looking nose but I could tell that I am not efficient at ‘nose-breathing’. So while I was asleep my mouth was open, and that was causing the snoring. I bought Nozovent strips(regular/ medium size). After only a few days tolerating its presence, I easily got used to a small and fairly soft rubbery strip in my nose. It’s benefit was immediate; to me and my wife. She describes my snoring as much quieter and without worrying incidences of my breathing seeming to stop. That immediate benefit was enough to motivate me to tolerate Nozovent in my nostrils. You get used to them easily. To complement our benefit, she still wears ear plugs (‘Noise-x’ from Lloyds chemist). I have been using Nozovent for years. Each Nozovent strip lasts several months; I hand wash it each morning and occasionally use boiling water. I change Nozovent when the strip becomes obviously softer. Even when my wife visits relatives for the night I still wear Nozovent when I’m alone.I even wear Nozovent at the dentists so I breathe through my nose when I have a mouthful of objects. We have a laugh and name it after a famous England footballer (‘Wayne Rooney’), as it make my nose look wider!!

This simple device works very well for me, and it’s also cheap. I find that each one lasts about a year before it becomes so soft that it won’t stay in places. I’ve been using these items for many years and wouldn’t be without them. Indeed if I dont put it in place at night, my nostrils tend to close and I cease to breathe comfortably

Closest to perfect I've found!

Although Nozovent hasn’t stopped me snoring in some positions, according to my partner it is a lot less intrusive on her sleep. In combination with some good ear plugs, then, this is the closest we’ve come to eradicating my snoring – and her sleep loss!

We have been exciting first about this product after the snoring test. Unfortunately it doesn`t work. My partner`s snoring is so strong, impossible to reduce the noise.
