The Reality - Our Review & Opinion

Different brands of nasal strips tend to be very similar, see Better Breath for an excellent example of how this is the case, however these are slightly different.

The first and most obvious difference is the width. First+Plast have three plastic spring-like pieces embedded in the strip as opposed to the standard two. This seems to increase the pulling power generating a noticeable increase in nasal airflow.

After use we encountered some glue residue on the nose. The glue appears to be relatively strong so proper removal is essential or skin damage may occur. However, careful application is needed as once touched we did find the glue appears to lose its effectiveness. Misplaced application may well render the strip pretty much useless.

Being 6mm shorter than Breathe Right Large and 5mm longer than the Medium, the 'one size fits all' claim seems a little bold. We would suggest you'll obtain optimum performance from these strips if you have an 'average' sized nose.

Did it help with snoring? - Yes, the increased dilation of the nostrils was sufficient to lead to a reduction in frequency and volume of snoring.

Would we recommend this product - Yes, for not only the improvement in snoring but also because they are latex free.
