Item as advertised and seems to work well. It is relatively easy to get used to, and I have slept better as a result. I am thinking of purchasing the upgraded version.
Somni snore guard

After using your site to identify the most suitable product I bought in succesion 3 different Somnovent guards. These worked to a certain standard but were uncomfortable, so when I saw this new product I thoughf I'd give it a try. There is a noticable improvement, so a good product, the only negative is that it seems rather expensive for a small piecs of mouldsd plastic.

Purely my own fault, I didn't look into the shape of my airway before purchasing this, and it does nothing for my snoring because its the wrong intervention for me, so my advice is, look at your own airway configuration and buy a product that will suit the reason for your snoring. Do your homework!
Seems to work

Although a simple looking item, it does seem to work very well indeed, no more nudging from my partner. At first it seems a bit 'alien' to have a guard in your mouth, but it is surprising just how quickly you get used to it. If you have any trouble 'shrinking' the guard to fit, there is an excellent video on YouTube which is very good indeed and I had no problems at all. If you are someone who tends to sleep with their mouth open give this a go. My only negative is that at £30 this seems a bit steep because at the end of the day it is simply a piece of mouldable plastic which given the numbers produced must cost pennies to manufacture.

I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine. I need to keep my mouth shut for the machine to be effective. I purchased the Somni Snore Guard as a means of keeping my mouth shut in my sleep without the aching discomfort of a chin strap. It works great, is more comfortable than a chin strap and has relieved all of my jaw pain!
This didn't help me.

Whilst the guard remained in my mouth and was comfortable to wear it didn't solve my snoring problem. It was worth the try but I had 100% success with another product.

I have been using, for the past eight years, a Mandibular Advancement Device. My jaw was always painful the following morning. It was a cure for my snoring and my slight sleep apnoea which the consultant told me I had after undergoing a sleep clinic. My throat was also always dry the following day. I recently tried the vestibular shield and that removed the painful jaw. I have been told that I have TMD. I sleep better now thanks to the oral vestibular.

I bought the Snore Guard for myself after reading some of the reviews, and carrying out the snore test. I received the product quickly and immediately followed the instructions to fit the device. It is useful to watch the instructional video - that does help. Since then I have used the device most nights - it is quite comfortable so no problems there. However I am still undecided about its effectiveness - my husband says my snoring has reduced but not gone completely and it can vary from night to night. I will continue to use it as anything is better than nothing in the campaign to stop snoring. I have managed to bite through the plastic in my sleep so not sure how long it will last.

I have been using the guard for a month now. It has taken me almost this time to get used to it, I find myself waking up in the middle of the night to take the guard out. So up to day I have not seen the benefits. But will keep going for at least another month and hope to get a good nights sleep
It works and fits well

Been using the Somni Snore Guard for about a week now. Does keep one from breathing through their mouth which was my main goal with this device. It doesn't bother me when I sleep like other devices that you can feel in your mouth all night long. Only issue I had was that when I got it and followed the instructions for molding it of 2 cups hot water to 1 cup cold water, it melted it a bit and it's not in perfect shape to my mouth. I thought I followed the instructions as listed but the water was still too hot it seemed. Even with that it's still functional and whenever I get a new one, I'll be more careful in molding it.I also felt the price was a bit high for what it is. It works great, but it doesn't seem a complicated device to me to command such a price. However, overall I'm happy with it and seems to be working for my purposes. No more waking up with dry mouth. Cheers
