The first night of wearing this was uncomfortable as it was something unfamiliar in my mouth, but once I got past this, I can sleep with it without any problem at all. It has definitely helped reduce my snoring, often so that I don't snore. There are occasions when I snore at times, such as if I'm suffering with a cold, which forces me to breath through my mouth or if I'm slightly on the heavier side. All in all, I'm happy with this and it has helped mine and my partner's sleep.

Snore tests done. Chose this a it seemed a mid/low priced option (the most likely solution I have seen will be £160 from the dentist) 1st night miracle cure Somni guard worked great . I am used to wearing a mouth guard to stop me grinding my teeth so having something in my mouth was not that strange really. 2nd- 3 rd night I have a bit of a snore (evidently) I re shaped and had a quiet following night. Next night or so had a snore a little. My teeth then started to ache in a morning and it seems I am grinding again. I was hoping it would stop this but it hasn't. So I have had to abandon this device unfortunately. Grinding apart. Partial success with regular re moulding. But not for me it seems. A £30 failed experiment not the end of the world I suppose and cheap it it had worked.

Hi, I tried the snore guard because my wife threatened to 'Kill ' me if I didn't do something soon! The guard is helpful to a degree, it's a little uncomfortable but you get used to it, make absolutely sure your nose is clear before use. She hasn't killed me yet therefore there has been an improvement!

I have been using this product for just over a month now, it does take a week or so to get used to having it in overnight but like anything new soon becomes normality, i would say judging by my wife's reaction it has had an 80% success rate which if your married you know is a win.

This product stopped me snoring. The way it makes me breathe slowly through my nose also seems to help me get to sleep. It was a little uncomfortable at first, but I got used to it within a few nights.

The device is very simple to shape to the mouth. It fits comfortably at night and is simple to keep clean. If your problem is simply snoring with mouth open, this may be your solution.

It definitely works, although I obviously take it out whilst asleep in the night, however a swift punch to the ribs from my partner and I put it back in and stop snoring. It takes some getting used to, but you have to persevere, and think of those you are affecting with your snoring. I predict big celebrations in campsites we visit this summer across Europe!!

It arrived promptly with clear instructions and is simple to use. It is not completely comfortable to use every night but i wanted it for sharing a hotel room with a friend. She reports that it worked well - the previous year on the same trip i had kept her awake. It is an inexpensive entry level aid with no fiddly or breakable bits which i can recommend.

Wanted to write a review to let people know to use the Somni Snore Guard with CPAP to prevent mouth breathing. I have CPAP (12 pounds of pressure) and air will come out my mouth or I will swallow air (Aerophagia) unless I keep my mouth closed. I was using tape to tape my mouth closed (buteyko) for years but that is a major hassle to put on and get off in the mornings and the tape would eventually tear the skin around my lips. My spouse found the Somni Snore Guard which I probably would not have found on my own because the way the picture looks online it is hard to visualize how this will work with CPAP and how it will custom fit to your teeth. Make sure you watch the video, fit it correctly/evenly, and line up the "arrow" with the center line between your two front top teeth. It took a couple weeks to get used to it and I feel like I am much better off then with the tape which was terrible and really not a long term solution since it was starting to damage the skin around my mouth. Also, I grind my teeth at night and this is the only guard I have been able to sleep with/stand. I got more expensive ones from my dentist but they clipped on to my top two front teeth and were uncomfortable and pinched my teeth. I got more expensive custom fitted sleep mouth guards to suctioned my tongue but they were too uncomfortable. Heads up: Plan to brush the Somni Snore Guard every night before you go to bed with toothpaste or mouthwash to keep it clean and keep the slime off it. Plan to replace it every 3-4 months if you grind your teeth since I end up biting thru the sides of the guard over time. Only order from Amazon.uk or this site directly since there is a scammer site setup in Africa somewhere - almost bought it there by mistake. It is definitely worth a try so you can just order one to start and then after you get used to it determine if you like it and order more. I usually order a few at a time to save on shipping costs. Hope this review helps other CPAP users. Good luck!
