If you got it from a NHS sleep clinic then yes, if not, probably no.

You would need to have been treated by the clinic and registered.

Buying from suppliers on Amazon will be the cheapest option.
Buying from American Amazon might be cheaper still, but it is a long way if anything goes wrong.

Thanks for your reply sleep2snore, I did get my machine and mask from the NHS clinic around 5 years ago but haven't been back since, not even for a review.

Give them a phone, something has gone wrong as you should be back for a review at least every three years.
DVLA require you to be checked every three years.
You should be able to get a new mask every year or so.

I had an NHS machine for 3.5 years and I had regular reviews, starting at 3 months, then 6 monthly etc. I got offered my first replacement mask about 3 weeks ago but turned it down as I planned to buy my own machine - they gave it to me anyway and said, oh hang on to it for back-up!

Thanks for the advice guys, seems as though something has went wrong here. I suppose this is a sign of the future of our NHS.

Yes, at my sleep clinic (East Grinstead) there is an annual review system and I got a whole new free mask set (Resmed P10). In time the elasticity of the straps goes and that can lead to more air leaks.

If it is a ResMed mask you can get clips when the straps stretch, or you can just sew a loop, it the same thing at the end of the day.
I had the same mask for 14years +, the pillows were changed, but I had to get a new mask just to change them as they were not to be got.
Don't know why as they were the same pillows I used that were on the replacement mask, but they said that was the only way they could give me new ones? :?
